Saint Seiya live action film

The Eiga.com news website reported on Friday that a Hollywood live-action film based on Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya manga has been green-lit. Toei Animation and Chinese distribution company A Really Good Film Company (ARGF) are co-producing the film.

Polish director Tomasz Bagiński, who previously directed the Academy Award-nominated short animation "Katedra," is directing the film. Toei Animation's Yoshiyuki Ikezawa and Kozo Morishita will serve as producer and executive producer, respectively.

Movie of 'Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!' Announced

The official website for Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! TV anime series has updated and announced that it will get a new movie. Titled Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!: Take On Me, it will be premiered on January 6, 2018. The main staff and cast members will reprise and ZAQ will be singing the theme song.

The movie will feature a new story where Yuuta and Rikka on their third year of the high school. One day in Spring, Touka said her job is stabled and wanting to take Rokka with her to Italy. Touka is also worried about Rikka's level not being able to pass to advance to universities in Japan. The gangs from the club suggested Yuuta to elope with Rikka!! A runaway drama around Japan begins.

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! is a light novel written by Torako and illustrated by Nozomi Ousaka that began serialization since May 2011. Total of 3 volumes has released so far. The light novel received two TV anime adaptations on Fall 2012 and Winter 2014 with a Summary Movie of first season on September 2013.

"Modern" or sci-fi type fantasy

I've asked a few things like this in the past, but are there any good fantasy series with a "modern" style? Not something like Index, where magic is a secret hidden side to the world, but more something like Yuu-Shibu where magic is either the core of technology or a long-known and well-integrated aspect of life, or like Final Fantasy VII (only one I played) with a sci-fi or slightly punk style. Something where it's still very much fantasy and you even have a lot of the standard tropes like sword-wielding heroes and defeating inhuman enemies or demon lords, but it also has cars and light and plumbing. If the story is an Isekai (summoned to another world) story then all the better. Any medium is fine; I prefer LNs these days but I love anime and manga just as much.

A LN series had its first volume published last month and is now cancelled

Yesterday, there was an AnimeNewsNetwork article called "Nyaruko Author's New Light Novel Fails to Make Waves". Last month, GA Bunko published the 1st vol. of a new LN series called [I]Hero Onii-chan to Last Boss Imōto Bakken! Seikenzer[I] (The Hero Big Brother and the Last Boss Little Sister Draw a Sword! Seikenzer)". Creators are writer Manta Aisora and an artist named Yū Kodama.

The article gives the story summary: it's a hero comedy starring Kanato Tsurugi and his younger twin sister, Minato. After Minato comes back from studying abroad, they go to a local event. Kanato pulls a holy sword and Blood Temple, a mysterious knight team, is summoned. Kanato seeks to get his sister under control as Minato appears to become an evil force. As Kanato doesn't want to yield in battle, these transformed siblings have a face-off.

It tanked in sales and thus GA Bunko decided to not continue the series. Aisora did a tweet explaining it didn't sell and apologized for her incompetence. Aisora-san explained the manuscript has enough for a trilogy. As she prepared to further the story, she considered the putting the rest on Kakuyomu, a free novel/shorts story publishing site.

As the print publishing deal has just closed, the writer isn't entirely sure if it's appropriate to upload the remaining parts. She also thinks that the submissions probably will get erased if she can't upload them.

My comments: I think there are people who should send a message to the publisher with something like this: putting it on a site like Amazon where fans could purchase the full volumes as e-novels (raw or translated). Another idea is to use a site where fan translations are released in chunks (like J-Novel does) with each chunk having a fee. However, make it so the collective chunk price is not higher than buying the entire novel. Fore example, if the book was $7.95, the collective chunk price might be $6.75.

Hi i'm looking for manga that has a romance element, preferably something that ends at least a bit conclusive, but i don't really want slice of life, i want it with some fantasy or action or sci fi, anything works:

The main thing i do want though is for it to be completed. No ongoing, i'm already at my wits end with Toaru and The legend of legendary heroes.

Nobunaga the fools, Nobunaga concerto, Nobunaga no Shinobi, Nobunaga chef and Nobunaga whatever is it.
I don't hate this guy but there are plenty sengoku era heroes to use beside him but why anime and manga industry often bother about him?

Hi! I'm new here nice to meet you all! Uhm can you suggest shounen anime or manga where the MC is being underestimated but when he unleash his power/ability everyone is on awe. Like Saitama of OPM, Mob of Mob psycho, Hinata of Haikyuu and Souma of Food wars. I don't want something with lots of boobs or doesn't have a definite plot and definitely GORE! Don't want anything to do with that. I want something like "oh what's with that guy he's so lame" and then BOOM! Sorta like everyone's reaction when the real luffy showed at sabaody and defeated robot kuma.:heh:

Just throwing this out here, in case no one's reading this awesome series.

Simple description right? But there's a lot of character packed into this series, especially considering its a chinese manhua. The series is 1 pg a chapter, so its easy to read, in a slightly-at-times-more-than-4koma format. Although the main focus is the yuri romance between two girls, there's great characterization in between those elements, so even if you're not a yuri fan(I'm not much of a fan of yuri), this might be something you'll enjoy to read. It also avoids the potential pitfall I've seen some yuri manga by not having said characters questioning their sexuality preferences and treating the same sex partnership like a heterosexual one right out the gate.

Best thing about this though is the friendship with Sun Jing(MC) and her best friend(normally called Mophead). Just reading the first couple of chapters, you will see how entertaining they are together =03.
