Can't boot Windows 7, can't start computer

First of all, I want to extend my thanks to those who helped me out in my first predicament, with the issue of the video card. I got a new one, and my computer was back in working order as soon as I installed it. So thank you.

Alas, it seems like I've still got problems plaguing me...

Today, when I started my computer up, I usually get all the booting up windows, and all that... eventually, I usually get to a selection that prompts me to boot the computer using Windows 7, or Windows Vista. Naturally, I always choose Windows 7, and my computer's been like that since I got it about 3 years ago. Last night (unrelated possibly, though it's the last thing that's happened to my computer), I moved my computer and its equipment downstairs, to a new location. Startup was a bit longer than usual, though the windows 7 option was still on the prompt, I selected it, and eventually I was logged in as usual. Seeing as how testing the computer in its new location was a success, I shut down the computer.

Now, today, when I restarted my computer, everything seemed to proceed as normal. Then, the prompt came up for me to choose which system to boot up the computer with. Instead of "Windows 7" being the first option, I was instead met with two options labled "Windows Vista."

Selecting either one doesn't help, as I immediately come across this message. I don't have a camera on me, so I have to type out everything the window says...

"Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change may be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer
2. Choose your language settings and then click next
3. Click "Repair your computer"

Some random numbers and a file directory, I can't remember. Then, a line that reads,

"Info: Selected Entry could not be loaded because application is missing or corrupt"

Windows memory diagnostics test yields nothing, as it sends me back to the page described above once its done scanning. I know I haven't installed anything new that could cause this, and unfortunately, I don't have my installation disc with me right now. I'm going to contact a computer expert I know, but until then, since you helped me last time, can any of you explain the cause of this problem? And could you tell me if any of the options above can help me out, and how to do them? I'm a bit desparate right now, a tad paranoid if my data saved to that computer is going to be removed now...

Sorry for the lengthy explanation. Any additional information you guys require, I'll be happy to oblige. Sorry if I might be a bit vague on some things. Anyway, I thank anyone who's able to help me out at all in this, and thank you for your time.
