Is there any epic 2012 anime?. When I say "epic" I mean like real "quality" anime, the kind where you might only one or two series of this level in the whole year.
Some examples of older series that qualify (in my opinion) are Madoka Magica, FMA: Brotherhood, Cross Game, Toradora, Casshern Sins, Gurren Laggan etc. You know, the really epic ones.
I watched most of last season's anime, only skipped a few, and while there were some pretty decent series I didn't find the one that ends up standing out. Looking at the new season, I don't see anything exciting on the horizon.
