Looks like I got this damn Rookit thing...AVG can detect it but can't get rid of it...Maleware Bites which I thought could get rid of Zues himself can't detect it either...It's making my computer slower, it momentarily bogs down things like clicking icons on the desktop, and when googling it makes certain google search items go to this dummy page instead of the page intended (It also stops you from visiting the "Image" page on Google amongst a bevy of small annoying things)...The only reason I think this is rookit is because AVG puts a popup on the screen for it from time to time, but it never finds it on a CPU scan...
I was in the process of busing stuff from my external hardrive to my CPU when this happened so I mistakenly effed up my system restore because I momentarily went under 200 mbs on my HD, so i can't use that as a crutch to backtrack...Any program or advice on getting rid of this?
