I was thinking of buying either a PSP or Droid X. Both seem like great devices, but I'm quite divided. I don't have the money to get both, nor do I really want to. I know the reasons are subjective, but I'll list why I'm interested in both products. Perhaps you folks and key me in on some things I'm not taking into account.
PSP
I really wanted a PSP a few years back, then my interest went down. There didn't seem to be that many huge titles out. Plus I already have a PS3 currently. The game that is making me want to consider purchasing one is the new Kingdom Hearts game. There are a few other games which I would probably take interest in like the Final Fantasy I & II package or some older titles, but that is really it. I'm not sure what else the PSP can really offer me. It doesn't seem to have much memory to do anything else like watch movies or listen to music right? And the processor isn't that great compared to the Droid X of course. At this point I'd probably have to "buy" every single game for the PSP...unlike the old days with the older models. This is why I'm leaning towards getting a Droid X.
Droid X
Obviously this has a lot more to offer than the PSP. Watch movies, listen to tons of music, browse the web, interesting apps, etc. Plus the memory space and processor are far better. This would probably have a lot more to offer me in my everyday life. The catch is, I'd have to void my contract with Verizon and get this new phone. I suppose I would have the money for it, but it would cost a lot more and might be a hassle. Not to mention the the monthly bill which would be a pain. It would probably be minimum $75 a month.
Obviously both of these are not a "need". But I will be having some extra money in the coming days. And I'd like to use it to get something cool for myself. So what are your thoughts? Any important tips I should think about in regards to selecting either?
