The problem doesn't occur always.
If it happens in boot I get some clicks and I am not sure what it's doing... doesn't seem like the normal beep. I might get HDD not detected when it comes to for the OS but in post the HDD is shown. If HDD is detected and runs the OS it takes long mins to load everything. In this situation I see in the even viewer something like HDD controller failure.
If it happens while I am using the PC it happens this: program start shutting down or running tons of process that I can see in task manager and if I click start menu it simply open and closes several times and eventually I won't be able to move the pc at all.
1st I thought it was the HDD since I heard a clicking noise and I thought it was the HDD. It's not coz I installed the OS in another HDD (diff brand) and the noise is the same. I heard 1 time the main HDD powering down and up. So I concluded it might be the HDD but when I saw HDD controller failure in event viewer I switched the sata entrance to another one when I had the problem and then it was gone. Lasted just 1 day and returned. I removed that HDD and installed the OS on a IDE HDD that is connected to a IDE connector in the Mobo(not using ide to sata conversor). The same problem happened a few hours later.
What do you think is the problem here? Mobo?
BTW, I don't have another PC to make other tests
