Music similar to Girls Dead Monster

Hi all,

Girls Dead Monster was a fictional girls J-rock/J-pop band from the series Angel Beats!. A few mini-albums with their songs from the anime series were released, but being a fictional group within a series that finished, we're probably not going to see any more from them.

I'm requesting recommendations for similar music. I don't know whether they're classified as rock or pop, but the songs are fairly energetic and have an uplifting, positive feel to them. Female singers preferred, Japanese groups preferred, but I'm open to male or mixed gender vocalists, and groups from any region singing in any language.
