Romantic animes with satisfying endings? (possible spoilers?)

Hello fellow romance anime fans, I was just wondering if any of you could suggest any romance animes (comedy or drama) with a satisfying ending; it doesn't necessarily have to be a happy ending, but something with closure to it or probably with little to no plot hole by the end is where I am getting at. Character development is a plus too. I dunno, I feel like alot of these romance animes I've seen on crunchy roll and netflix, especially ones with only 12 episodes, seem to have a way too open ended of an ending. (Guess that is fair since the limited # of episodes) Unfortunately though, this doesn't suit my taste :( I mean I enjoyed the ride, but then when it comes to the end, I am just left little dumbfounded or thinking "that's it?". Anywho..
