I recently picked up a used PS3, mostly to play Blu-rays and DVDs, since my PS2 is nearing the end of it's life. But also to keep playing my old PS1 and PS2 games (which I do fairly often).
However, I've thought about picking up a PS3 RPG or two, and am looking for some recommendations. I typically prefer the more JRPG types, like the old Final Fantasy series (Pre X), and not so much the SKyrim type of open exploratory games. Tales of Vesperia was recommended to me, and it looks good... but found out the English version is apparently Xbox360 only. Decided to pick up Star Ocean: The Last Hope International, since it was cheap (only $20).
Any other good ones out there I may be missing?
From my own poking around, Enchanted Arms seems to look decent, as does Atelier Rorona (I am a sucker for anime-looking RPGs). Any others? I like a good journey through a decent world, on an epic storyline, but battles have to be fun and interesting, too.
Oh, and not so much looking at Corridor Fantasy 13 (FF13) right now, though if I get desperate, I may resort to it, heh.
