and was wondering where it was from.
Beyond that I am wondering where there is anime (besides Kinnikuman/Ultimate Muscle) which has pro wrestling moves in them. In particular with girls showing their strength by using them.
There might be some scenes like this in Ranma, it's been years so I don't remember very well.
One I would like to volunteer is one I watched via Anime Classic Reviews called Del Power X: http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1128.html it has one girl doing them to hurt this guy to demonstrate how the girl piloting a mecha should move her mecha to use the wrestling moves on opponents.
So I'm wondering if anyone remembers scenes like these from any anime they've seen and could recommend or discuss them.
Edit: actually I took a closer look at the file name in folder "Maris and Sue" so it appears this is from Maris the Chojo, a 48 minute OVA from 1986: http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1180.html
AS seems to have mistakenly listed it as 1996 and unfortunately the torrent for it appears dead. "Was once licensed, but no longer. It has been out of print so long that it is nearly impossible to find the CPM sub."
I looked on Nyaa and this is what came up: http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo&tid=82126 though 800MB for LD makes me think bad compression. Better than nothing I guess.
Anywho I'm wondering if other anime have wrestling moves like this, particularly with girls doing it since that is probably more unusual.
Edit 2: I found another one, there is a scene from City Hunter, which I can't find on here, not sure if is licensed. Another scene is in "Miami Guns" a 13ep from 2000 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_Guns which I don't see any licensing info about. Another is apparently in Air Gear. I'm not sure which one, I know the OVAs don't seem to be licensed http://animesuki.com/series.php/1725.html
