Any romance between a boy and a bully?

I was wondering if there were any anime/manga romances in which a man falls in love with a major bully. And not because he thinks anything but the worst of her bully side. Rather, he's able to see that there's another side to her, that somewhere inside of her is a cute, happy, sweet girl. Perhaps he's even perceptive enough to figure out that for a sweet person to act out or behave cruelly towards certain people there would have to be something behind it.

This idea came to me from Onanii Master Kurosawa. The main character's actions could be said start out with teaching a certain bully a lesson. Some time later in the series, he sees her in a few places where she shows a different side of herself, one that's surprisingly cute and girly, shy and cheerful and friendly, almost complete opposite of how she normally acts. I don't remember well, but I think there were even a couple spots where it was suggested that something could develop. This is all mixed in with a lot of other stuff going on, but this is one of several things I saw in Kurosawa that I thought would be interesting taken in a different direction and/or with more focus.

I don't want something where the guy feels anything but absolute disapproval of any cruelty she shows. Rather, I want something where the guy actually feels some concern and interest in her and ultimately wants to help her become the nice, cute girl he catches glimpses of in her eyes.
