Kingdom (キングダム, Kingudamu) is a manga by Yasuhisa Hara that began serialization in 2006 in Shueisha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump. A beat'em all videogame adaptation, entitled Kingdom : Ikkitousen no Tsurugi, was released in November 25, 2010 on PSP by Konami. Now, a TV anime adaptation by Pierrot will run on NHK next spring.
Plot summary : The story follows Li Xin and Hyō, two boys without families in the Warring States Period when China has been embroiled in war for five centuries. Despite living like slaves, the boys strive to realize their dream of becoming warlords.
