Manga for an Anime Club

I looked a few pages back but didn't see a similar topic, so yay another thread! :D

I'm an officer for my high school anime club, and I have the task of compiling a list of manga/books to add to our club's manga library. The problem is that I don't read manga at all, so I have no way of knowing what (licensed) manga are good to get besides those whose anime are popular.

Can anyone give recommendations for any specific title to get? Preferably, something that doesn't have extreme fanservice like Highschool of the Dead.
