I just downloaded the Viz Media, Dark Horse and Yen Press iPad apps. The experience is just as good if not better then physical books. For one thing the sharpness of the page is identical + you can zoom in! Not to mention this is a real boon if you're running out of bookshelf space AND the volumes are cheaper too! The one downside at the moment is lack of marquee titles like MPD Psycho & Kurusagi Corpse Delivery Service. I guess it's a matter of licensing?
