(Assuming it's not one already...)
I didn't want to make this thread actually since I assumed many here would take it personally; please don't - I was going to make this thread after a week of posting here honestly, lol.
I've noticed alot lately reading this forum, and alot of outlets actually that so many people are so arrogant when it comes to their opinions, personal views, ect. Oddly enough these people aren't as confident in other aspects which may explain the over confidence in their opinions I suppose.
However when it comes to their personal views conflicting with another, or being met with questions...the defenses come out, insults, ect.
It makes me wonder if this could be become a real mental health issue that makes some unable to function in society where you kinda do have to accept other opinions without being overbearing, defensive, and rude - not only just to get along but to possibly save yourself from a few fist in the face aswell. Since not everyone will take well to pretensions.
Do any of you see this becoming a mental-health issue in the future? I can't think of any therapy that might help such a trait really. I could see this becoming something someone makes a pill for though soon. I remember reading some news story about facebook "making" narcissism a more widely spread trait apparently, lol. Silly - but it managed to get on the news. :heh:
