I decided to dub over an episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya [the first "season", episode 14] with my own music and I'm pleased with the results, for the most part. :D
It was difficult to balance out my music with existing music, most notably at the end, but I think it also led to some cool harmonies. Basically this was just an experiment on my part to fit some music of mine into the context of a show; it was an exercise in timing and context, really. Basically it's an extended AMV of a sort, and I would be very appreciative if you told me what you thought. I'm particularly proud of the part starting from around 14:37, I thought the timing on that turned out really nicely. :D
I uploaded it to animemusicvideos.org. I would've uploaded it to youtube, but they've become increasingly more annoying when it comes to copyright, so this was my only real option outside of a filesharing site. Otherwise I wouldn't be linking to a page, but I really wanna share this. Anyway, here it is!
