Great Plot and Characters

I'm looking for an anime that gets you attached to the characters with a strong well written plot. Examples of these which I loved are:

Clannad / After Story
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
Natsume Yuujinchou (I know, it's episodic)

All I can think of atm, I'll update with more when they come to mind.
