I a looking for a netbook as six pounds of Thinkpad is rather heavy... I don't want to spend too much on this purchase, but I do want a quality netbook as much of an oxymoron as that is.
Main Requirements:
-Good Battery (This can't be that hard)
-Matte screen
-Good build quality, not expecting Thinkpad level, but not toy level quality I find in most netbooks I see
-Good keyboard, again, not expecting anything at the level of my Thinkpad, but I will be typing a lot on this machine. I prefer keytops that curve in (think most business laptops, though they don't have to be the same tapered style, the part that contacts my finger should be similar) as opposed to flat keytops, good travel, decent size, and nice "feel" important.
I am considering the Dell Latitude 2110 right now, but it is a bit large for a netbook.
