I have a vision and i can't shake it off:
Glee must have an anime music episode with Puck singing Ai Wo Torimodose and have Aya Hirano as a guest star playing as a tsundere foreign exchange student.
I don't care if the songs are in Japanese or badly re-recorded in English dub. i don't care if Rachel Berry can't speak japanese, or if Quinn Fabray is more tsundere than Aya Hirano's character.
GLEE MUST HAVE AN ANIME EPISODE!
I enjoyed Glee episode 1 to 13. i stopped after episode 16 and i still haven't revisited it ever since. I was even too lazy to check out Season 2. But the only way for me to go back to Glee is by having an episode filled with anime songs. I wanna see the Glee club singing music from Beck, Detroit Metal City, Hokuto No Ken, Dragon Ball Z, K-On, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, One Piece, Lucky Star and much more.
And have Aya Hirano guest star as a tsundere foreign exchange student. It would be like an otaku's wet dream to have a known Japanese seiyuu doing an episode of a popular American show. Infact, it might bring more non-Anime fans and fans of Glee into anime. And, by having Puck singing Ai Wo Torimodose, it might make Glee more manlier and may turn every crying scene in the show into a Manly Cry.
And yes, none of the cast can't speak Japanese but hey, i wouldn't even mind if the songs are sung in English instead of Japanese, as long as the content of the song is still there.
Ryan Murphy, if you're reading this, please have an anime music episode for Glee. It would be a huge favour for us Western anime fans and just like your Rocky Horror episode, an anime music episode might bring in more Westerners into anime and bring in new appreciation for anime music and J-Pop :)
